Tarlan Razzaghi

Senior Counsel | Vancouver Office

Tarlan advises Indigenous communities on a variety of natural resource, energy and land use matters. She works closely with clients to provide day-to-day advice in building community capacity with respect to Crown and industry relations. Tarlan also provides strategic advice in leveraging litigation, regulatory hearings and other dispute resolution processes for Treaty and Aboriginal rights protections.

Tarlan has over 15 years of experience in the field of lands and natural resources. She has represented Indigenous communities in all aspects of consultation, reconciliation, environmental assessment, regulatory, negotiation and litigation processes. She has appeared before energy regulatory bodies and superior trial-level courts in Alberta and British Columbia.

Tarlan’s practice is client-driven. She sees her role as listening and learning from her clients to develop meaningful processes for Indigenous peoples to be heard and their rights respected.
