Joshua Gandier
Summer Student
Joshua Gandier has joined Hall & Larocque as a summer student, where he will be working closely with the firm’s lawyers. Over the course of the summer, he will assist in delivering the broad range of legal services provided by the firm.
Joshua is a proud member of Peguis First Nation and will be entering his third year at the University of Manitoba Faculty of Law, in the fall of 2025. Throughout his legal studies, he has been actively involved with Pro Bono Students Canada, the Manitoba Indigenous Law Students Association, and the Marcel A. Desautels Centre for Private Enterprise and the Law.
He recently completed his term as Youth Chief of the Southern Chiefs’ Organization Youth Council, where he gained valuable advocacy experience at provincial, national, and international levels—including at the United Nations. Outside of his legal and leadership pursuits, Joshua is an alumnus of the University of Winnipeg Men’s Basketball Program and remains active in the community as a basketball coach.
