Isabella Gatehouse

Legal Receptionist | Winnipeg Office

With a background in non-profit operations and communications, Isabella has worked with multiple organizations across Winnipeg dedicated to healing, community wellness, and strengthening food sovereignty in Indigenous communities.  She brings a community-first approach to her work and is passionate about community advocacy.

Isabella is currently completing her undergraduate degree in the Inner-City and Urban Studies program at the University of Winnipeg, where she focuses on the social and economic development of marginalized communities. Her academic interests explore the political, legal, and economic barriers that contribute to systemic exclusion.

As a Cree woman from Norway House Cree Nation, Isabella holds Indigenous issues close to her heart and hopes to create more equitable opportunities for Indigenous communities through both her work and studies.
