Christopher Gall
Senior Counsel
Christopher Gall is Senior Counsel at Hall & Larocque, where he advises on Indigenous self-governance, the duty to consult, treaty negotiations, project-related environmental and regulatory matters, constitutional law, legislative drafting, and the negotiation of Impact Benefit Agreements and Capacity Funding Agreements. His practice also includes work on fisheries management and governance for not-for-profit organizations.
Born and raised in British Columbia, Christopher has worked across Canada—from the coast of British Columbia to the Maritimes and north to Nunavut and Nunavik. He brings a rare blend of legal, policy, and governance experience. His diverse experience includes government relations and public affairs, conducted historical and rights-based research, served as Executive Director of an Indigenous government, sat on the advisory board of a major National Park, negotiated at the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC), and taught at several universities.
Christopher has advised First Nations, Inuit, and Métis governments and communities, as well as other public and non-profit institutions, across a wide range of legal and policy matters.
